Road user charge

From 1 January 2018, it is required to pay road user charge for all heavy goods vehicles that weigh over 3.5 tonnes and are used on the public road network.

Road user charge should be paid before proceeding to the road. Estonia applies time-based road user charge, the purchase of which provides you with the right to use the roads for a certain period of time. Payments can be made 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. Payments are saved electronically and there is no need for a printout on paper.

More information about road user charge tariffs and payment can be found by teetasu.ee.
